Super 8 day

 

This project was ideated by Elvio Annese, documentary director and teacher of the editing course (master level) at Brera Fine Art Academy in collaboration with the social association Unza! 

The idea consisted in giving the student of the master course of editing some super 8 film and a camera. Each of the student had then to shoot some footage being aware of the time restriction of working with limited film. Once the film was all used, us student had to develop it in the school dark room. Then we digitalized the film and use the whole footage to tell our own story by arranging it digitally. 

The titles were realized in stop motion using the scrap left from the  packaging of the film and some part of film itself.
