about me
I am Francesca Giunta, an Italian artist living in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
After I graduated in 2015 as a painter, at the Fine Arts Academy of Catania, in Italy (Accademia di Belle Arti Catania) I decided to expand my life experiences and skill set by moving abroad and going back to art academy.
In fact, I have recently finished my internship at the film-production company Korrel film in Rotterdam where I mostly focused in postproduction, and I am a soon-to-be graduated AudioVisual design student at Willem de Kooning Academy.
As a designer, I like to bring my previous studies into my practice, mixing, merging and shaking the boundaries of different disciplines. At the same time I try to use my political engagement and efforts in social activism in favor of oppressed minorities in my projects.
